1989 Wellcraft 26 Scarab Sportster

This boat is a complete custom build, from the stringers & transom to the custom cockpit layout. We have cut the deck (see gallery) to not only decrease the overall weight & eliminate wood but to give the feel of a bigger boat due to the toe-kick. The new cockpit is receiving two molded in deck hatches; One for fwd storage and one for the added custom fish box. The console is being built from a 2007 mold so it will have the style and features of a new boat with plenty of room for electronics and storage. The deck now features a huge molded in anchor locker, fwd storage and insulated transom cooler that extends the beam of the boat. If you look at the gallery of this boat as far as it is currently, you will notice the size of the fwd storage compartment. We have removed the original gas tank bulkheads to re-locate the gas tank fwd to the storage bulkhead. This accomplishes two things; First and foremost, these boats inherently are a little squatty in the stern so moving the tank fwd gives this hull a little nudge in the center of gravity department and secondly, it allows room for one massive fish box which is tucked nicely under the aft molded in deck hatch. The transom was just replaced with high density foam core and carbon fiber stiffeners. The stringers will be original but are all receiving additional glass and carbon fiber. The hull will soon be flipped, long boarded and re-gelcoated which will give the boat a perfectly blueprinted running surface. The new deck/Cockpit sole will be bonded to the stringers with plexus and then tabbed to the hull sides and foam injected. The foam not only acts as a sound deadener, but will insulate both the fwd storage and fish box. The hull also boasts a structural bulkhead to close out the anchor locker as well as a secondary bulkhead with oval cut-out for under deck cap storage for bumpers, lines, coolers, etc. We are also installing a custom fiberglass leaning post/kodiak livewell/tackle station which is all color matched molded fiberglass. This boat is still in process and can be customized to YOUR specs.

1984 Mako 17' Angler Classic

The Mako 17 Angler is a classic boat that is highly sought after by fisherman everywhere. The boat was in a dock collision and put up for sale. I aquired the boat and began a complete restoration. The boat is not only receiving new gelcoat on the hull, deck and console, but we re-cored everyplace accessible with high density pvc foam. The console has been re-configured to give the boat a more modern appearance. The only thing that will not be replaced is the 1996 90hp Yamaha Two Stroke. These are great engines and we have gone through it with a fine tooth comb. The carbs were rebuilt, new electric and manual chokes installed, new plugs, new water pump impeller, new gear lube, new shift shaft and we are cosmetically reconditioning with new paint, decals and cowling seal. This is a great boat and will make anyone happy to be on the water. Where else can you get a restored classic boat, motor and trailer for less than 10 grand?
